Covid-19 is causing confusion and panic amongst franchisees who may not be able to operate their franchised business or who are suffering a significant downturn in trade.
Franchisees may have legal rights that protect their interests or at least give them some bargaining power to negotiate a deal to see them to the end of this pandemic.
For instance, your franchise agreement may be frustrated because the parties can no longer perform their obligations under the franchise agreement.
