Elizabeth Gore-Jones will be presenting about the Australian Consumer Law to the City of Sydney Law Society on the evening of Wednesday, 30 July 2025. This session is designed to provide practitioners and businesses with a deeper understanding of critical ACL provisions.

During her presentation, Elizabeth will be examining:

  • The critical differences between section 4 and section 18 of the Australian Consumer Law relating to misleading and deceptive conduct; and
  • The differences between section 21 (unconscionable conduct) and the obligation to act in good faith.
