When a lawyer is reviewing your franchise agreement they should not just be summarising the agreement for you.
One of the most important roles of a franchise review should be to make recommendations for you.
A franchise review should:
1. suggest drafting changes - deletions and different wording
2. explain the impact of relevant legislation
3. highlight how the franchise agreement compares to industry standards
4. explain what the agreement says
